Vintage Bridal Gown

My vintage bridal gown

I wanted to create a dress that would go back in time. It was a pleasure and sometimes a painful endeavor. But in the end, I was more then happy with its outcome.
From creating the patterns of the dress, to its fitting, and finally creating the finished product.

A little added touch of detail.

                                                    Dramatic Back

                                                  Done with a high collar.

The bolero done with dramatic sleeves.

I love watching fashion shows when I can, while working.

One of my best moments was creating the corset, especially applyng the groumettes.

The pattern to help guide the ponctured holes for the groumettes.

Low waistline, and curvy look.

Working through the cut of the fabric, making minor repairs.

Seven layers of tulle to create the train.
